How do I apply to one of the college programs at Evergreen Investments?
At the end of each program description within Evergreen’s College Career Center is a link to a fuller description of the position on wachovia.com. You will be able to apply online from that page at wachovia.com. To apply you will need to create an online profile, which includes your resume and a current e-mail address.
Is Evergreen Investments planning to visit my campus?
Since Evergreen Investments is part of Wachovia, when Wachovia visits your campus, you should plan on speaking with the Wachovia representative about your interest in one of these positions. Wachovia makes a limited number of campus visits in the fall.
How do I know my resume was received?
You will receive an e-mail confirming receipt.
Once I submit my resume, what happens next?
Your resume will be reviewed by a recruiter. If your skills match the position requirements, you may be contacted to schedule a telephone interview. In some cases, you may not hear from an Evergreen recruiter, which may mean that Evergreen does not have an opportunity available that matches your skills.
Once I create a profile, will I automatically be considered for all open positions in the college programs?
No. You will need to apply to each position separately. Again, once you submit your resume, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt. If your skills and experience match the position requirements, you may be contacted by a recruiter to schedule a telephone interview.
What can I do to prepare for my interview?
During the interview you will be asked questions about previous work situations, specifically, what was the issue you had to address, what actions did you take and what were the results caused by your actions. This approach is generally known as a structured behavioral interview. To help you prepare for this type of interview, you can read the article, Prepare for Structured Behavioral Interview.
